My Muse has returned!
It has been a long time since my muse has been here, but I am pleased to say she is back in all her glory!I purchased this pattern for the May Pixie by Faewyck Studios from Joggles.com almost a year ago and just now got around to making her. I do love making dolls so much. I still hate turning fingers though. LOL. The embroidered fabric is from a dress I purchased at Goodwill during their big sale recently. I snarfed up a ton of dresses and such for fabrics. The hair is from a wool yarn I got at a second hand store years ago. The body is a fabric I got at a yard sale. Working on jewelry
I have been spending a little time on metal projects this week. I decided to quit being such a chicken and make friends with my dremmel. Yay! Not so scary after all. Best of all, I was able to easily cut the opening in this piece of copper.
The dremmel also makes quick work of the filing. That makes me very happy because I hate the filing part, especially if I have alot of pieces to do.
Here is a necklace and earring set that I did as a gift for a friend.
This is a ring I made with a vintage button. It's not quite finished yet.
I only had enough fine silver wire for one band. I'd like to make a couple more bands and do some wrapping for added stability.
